The need to travel is a mysterious force. A desire to go runs through me equally with an intense desire to stay at home. An equal and opposite thermodynamic principle. When I travel, I think of home and what it means. At home I'm dreaming of catching trains at night in the gray light of Old Europe, or pushing open shutters to see Florence awaken. PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS

I hope to go to law school in the near future, and pursue a career in international affairs and immigration. I am passionately committed to the United States system of laws and how they can have such power and influence in our country, as well as around the world. The issue of immigration is just one example of how our laws can have such a tremendous impact on others, specifically those to the south of our border. Cross-country relationships and legal decisions must include individuals who are familiar with U.S. laws, as well as the language and cultures of other countries. I hope to be a committed advocate for the clients that I shall one day represent, a strong voice on behalf of the United States legal system and our laws, and of the community, in both the United States and Latin America.
